Music City Festival and BBQ Championship celebrates the “MUSIC” in Music City and the “BBQ” in Tennessee State BBQ Championship.

The two-day festival is held the last weekend in August (24 – 25, 2012) at the beginning of the fall cooking season.

We host live music on the banks of the Cumberland river at Riverfront Park in downtown NashVegas, and a BBQ competition with Professional and Amateur BBQ teams along 1st Ave competing for over $20,000 in prizes and cash.

The competition is one of few that enjoys sanctioning from both the Memphis BBQ Network and the Kansdas City BBQ Society.

Music City Festival and BBQ Championship embraces the spirit of Nashville with an extensive network of volunteers and over $28,000 in donations to charities over the past three years.

The Music City BBQ Festival, Inc. is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) charitable organization. EIN # 45-3527760.  A portion of all proceeds benefit Shriner’s Children’s Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project.
